Tuffet - Using a kit ($55 payable to teacher) for the frame and the feet of the stool, you will make a strip-pieced cover and covered button to trim the cover for the foam form. Carolyn will direct you in assembly of the Tuffet. You will need numerous 2.5" strips of coordinating fabrics and six 1/2 yd pieces for the pieced cover. See the model in the shop. |

Judy's Lunch Bag - You will need to make a "patchwork" fabric in any style you prefer for the outside of this bag. Judy took her VERY small leftovers and made Rail Fence-like blocks that she then sewed together to get a "fabric" that is about 16"X26". Yours can be bars or squares or appliqués--however you wish to get a fabric (even plain) large enough to form the bag. Then Judy instructs you in class on quilting through the fabric, thermaflec and Insulbrite to make the bag insulated. You will apply a zipper and handles. Fun and useful for toting your lunch! |
