Confident Beginner - This class is to help students become Confident Beginners. You will learn the basics of a sewing machine operation such as how to thread, to wind a bobbin, to sew a 1/4" seam allowance, and how to identify a good stitch. You will learn the proper way to use a rotary cutter and to measure correctly with a quilter's ruler. When you have completed this two-hour class, you will be ready to go to a class that is designated as CB on our schedule. Confident Beginners know the basic operations of a quilter so that they can take directions from the instructor in a CB class. |
