Spring Cleaning Time

How do you feel about Spring Cleaning? It can make you energized to think of what the results will be, or it can depress you to extremes to think of doing it. Well, at Heirlooms & Comforts we have mixed emotions about cleaning. The "traffic dirt" from the close-by street and the spiders that wintered under our awning really put us on a sour note when it is time to clean them up. However, once we have collected all the "to-be-moved-out" materials and spiffed up behind them we are ready to enjoy new merchandise and ideas. There are beneficiaries of this process - our faithful customers who frequent our shop. We are starting this clean-up process this week.

Heirlooms & Comforts Feature of the Week:
Spring Cleaning

At Heirlooms & Comforts this week our Spring Cleaning feature is miscellaneous items on the sale table in the main room at $1 each. Included in this group are buttons, patterns, various tools, precut bindings, embellishments, books, foundation printed material, selected children's patterns, selected embroidery design packs, and more. (Fabrics remain as previously marked.)

In the sewing machine related department we have selected various items that are drastically reduced (some up to 60% off). The list includes:

We are cleaning and making room for more. You can save during this event!

Don't Forget These Classes

At Heirlooms & Comforts this week two very talked-about classes are starting: Rabbit Tracks, the machine appliquéd quilt with adorable rabbits that will make you giggle; and One Block Wonder that is amazing in the way it turns out depending on your cutting choices. Don't let these slip past you. They are the "hot 'n ready" classes! Call today.

Hoping to see you soon!

What to write...what to write?

I ponder this each week. Should I write about the new books and patterns that have come in for the piecers, sewers, and appliquers or about the new fabrics from Henry Glass and Moda? Should I write about the new samples that have been completed and are hanging in the shop? Should I write about the upcoming Spring QSC meeting and the Upcoming Quilt Show in Greenville? Sometimes there is just so much to write about that I just don't know were to start. Stop by VSQ and get the answers to these and other questions.
