Recent developments for Thimbleberry fans:
Husqvarna-Viking has made a licensing agreement with Thimbleberries to produce embroidery designs of fabric and/or quilt designs. Can you imagine?! Now you will be able to reproduce the Crazy Quilt from several years back in embroidery on your machine. How much fun can this be!!! We haven’t yet seen this/these discs but will let you know right away when they come in. These two companies are the best.
3D Studio Classes
In the coming months we’ll be continuing with our new round of 3D Studio classes. If you’ve just bought the software, no worries! I’ve had students join the class during the middle of the series and have done just fine. VSSQ will help you to get up to speed for class and you’ll find that all levels of experience are welcome in the class.
3D Professional, which meets once a month, will continue to work on classes that specialize in 3D Stitch Editor and 3D Digitizing for creating their own unique and original designs.
For those of you who have Fabric Decorator, I’m going to try and come up with a class using that module that shows of what you can do and how it can add pizzazz to your designs. Watch for an e-mail announcement.
